Street Smart

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Street Smart ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Street Smart is a parent-child educational platform providing interactive life-skill lessons for children aged 6–12. The Service includes scenario-based lessons covering confidence, awareness, decision-making, resilience, and social intelligence, along with parent guidance materials.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

The Service is intended for use by parents or legal guardians on behalf of children aged 6–12. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child profiles you create.

4. Subscription and Payments

Street Smart offers a free tier with limited access and paid Family plans (monthly and annual). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by applicable law.

5. Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 30-day free trial of a paid plan. Only one free trial per household. We reserve the right to modify or terminate free trial offers at any time.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on Street Smart, including lessons, scenarios, illustrations, and parent guides, is the property of Street Smart or its content licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes not attempting to gain unauthorised access, not using the Service to harm or harass others, not scraping or copying content systematically, and not using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Child Safety

We take child safety seriously. Child profiles on Street Smart are sub-profiles linked to a parent account and do not require independent authentication. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. All data associated with child profiles is managed by the registered parent or guardian.

9. Disclaimers

The content on Street Smart is provided for educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional safety, psychological, or parenting advice. We do not guarantee that any child will be safer as a result of using the Service. Always use your own judgement as a parent or carer.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Street Smart shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
